Heilkunst is a system of medicine based on natural laws and was founded over 200 years ago by German physician, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. Heilkunst includes the use of homeopathic medicines but is a complete system that deals with the causes of diseases. The following list describes the three areas that Heilkunst focuses on in the restoration and maintenance of the patient's health.
1. Regimen: nutrition, exercise, supplements, proper sleeping, and proper hydration
2. Medicine: the use of homeopathic remedies to address disease states in the patient
3. Therapeutic Education: involving the deeper issues of the soul in terms of our false beliefs, illusions, delusions, and deepest fears
Homeopathic Remedies
The medicines (remedies) used in Heilkunst are made mainly from natural substances and are prepared in a way that increases their therapeutic effect, but essentially eliminates their capacity to harm or cause side effects. This process of energizing leads to medicines that are highly effective at the bio-energetic level and yet are entirely safe, even for pregnant or nursing women, children, and pets.
Treatment Process
The treatment process for Heilkunst includes an initial consultation (1-2 hours) and then a series of follow-up consultations (30min - 1hour) every 4 weeks until the process is complete.
During the initial consultation I'll get to know you and why you are seeking natural health care, we'll talk about your symptoms and the possible courses of action to take. During this time we'll also touch on nutrition, exercise, supplements, and sleeping habits.
Most people usually decide to take the route of sequential treatment especially if they are suffering from chronic disease.
What is Sequential Treatment???
Sequential treatment is a process using homeopathic medicine that takes into account all the past traumas of your life. Everything that happens to you from the moment of conception contributes to your present and future health. Over time the events of your life can build up like drops of water in a glass. Eventually the glass fills with water and overflows. This is when chronic illnesses such as arthritis, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. appear. In order to reverse this process or to prevent it from happening, sequential treatment can be used.
The first step in the process is to build a timeline for yourself. A timeline is a list of all the traumas you have experienced from conception until the present day. See above for instructions on how to make your own timeline.
The next step is for the homeopath to treat each trauma with specific homeopathic remedies in sequential order starting with the most recent traumatic event. For a single event the required remedies are given before going on to the next event. Eventually you will have gone back in time and essentially erased the effects of all the traumas that you have experienced in your life.
How long does it take???
The length of time to complete the treatment will be different for each person. Generally, the more traumas that you have experienced, the longer it will take to address them. After one event is treated a period of four weeks must pass before the next remedies can be given. Each set of remedies takes approximately four weeks to have its full effect on the trauma being addressed. It is important not to interrupt this process by introducing other remedies.
What are the results???
The results of completing sequential treatment include regaining your health and preventing future health problems. The traumas on a timeline include physical and emotional events. By treating each event it is possible to remove many physical and emotional symptoms. The only thing that sequential treatment cannot help is in the instance of tissue damage. Unfortunately, tissue damage cannot be reversed.
Who can use it???
Sequential treatment is safe and effective for all ages. It can even be used on animals. It does not interfere with other types of treatment or medicine. It can safely be used in conjunction with other treatments. It has been very successful in cases of chronic illness where western medicine has had little or no effect on the symptoms. It has also had much success in cases where the patient has suffered extensive emotional damage.
